Fertilizers are an indispensable element in every farm in Poland. Due to the poor content of some soils in minerals, it is important to use properly selected and certified fertilizers. Their use allows the soil to be enriched with the basic elements supporting the growth and development of the plant (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) and to obtain profitable agricultural production efficiency. In addition, it is also important to use other elements needed by plants for proper development, such as, for example, magnesium, calcium, copper, iron, molybdenum, manganese, zinc and sulfur. Appropriate selection and adjustment of the amount of individual fertilizer ingredients allow to increase the aforementioned agricultural production efficiency. It should be remembered that the effectiveness of fertilizers is determined by many factors, including: climatic conditions (temperature and rainfall during the vegetation period), soil properties, type of cultivated plants (ability to use nutrients), crop rotation (distribution of fertilizers) and the type of applied fertilizers.
